This Privacy Policy is issued by Echoblend Technologies Pvt Ltd ("Neodhan", "we", "us"), Gurgaon, India. Neodhan is a trademark of Echoblend Technologies Pvt Ltd. It explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal data when you use neodhan.com, apply for or service a loan through Neodhan or our lending partners, or use NeoChat, our business chat app for borrowers and the Neodhan team.

1. Who this applies to
This policy applies to website visitors, MSME and agri-entrepreneur applicants in India, borrowers, authorised Neodhan staff, and NeoChat users. Our services are for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
2. Information we collect
Website. Pages you visit, device/browser type, IP address, and similar technical logs needed to operate the site. If you use the contact form, we collect the details you submit (name, email, phone, message).
Loan application and servicing. Information you provide when applying (business details, identity and address proof, bank statements, GST or financials where relevant, contact information), information from use of our services, and information from third parties where permitted by law and with your consent (for example credit bureaus, banks, Account Aggregator frameworks).
NeoChat account. Mobile number (OTP login), name from your Neodhan profile, and optional email if you enter it in the app. We do not read your SMS inbox. If Android or iOS offers OTP Autofill, that is handled by the operating system for that one code.
NeoChat messages and files. Chat messages, documents, photos, and videos you choose to send in a loan room (status, docs, GST, co-borrower, and related servicing). Used for that conversation and application, not for advertising.
Contacts (optional, NeoChat). If you turn on "People you know" and grant the system Contacts permission, NeoChat can read names and phone numbers on the device so you can find friends and colleagues already on NeoChat, search family names for a co-borrower, and start referrals you choose. Names stay on the device. We may use hashed phone numbers to match existing NeoChat users. Sharing one person in a thread uses the system contact picker. We do not upload your full address book and do not read contact emails, notes, or photos.
Camera and gallery (optional, NeoChat). Asked only when you capture or pick a photo or video to send in chat. We do not scan your gallery in the background.
Location (optional, NeoChat). Used when you share a pin or live location in a room, and when staff mark attendance. Live location may continue if you leave the app only while that share is on, with a notification, until you tap Stop. We do not track location in the background at other times.
Device signals (optional, NeoChat). Hardware model, OS version, app version, physical device vs emulator, experimental root/jailbreak checks, and a NeoChat install ID, to reduce unauthorised use of your account. We do not collect IMEI, IMSI, or SIM serial. Servers see your IP address on HTTPS connections.
What we do not collect. We do not read SMS or call logs, do not list other apps on your phone, do not sell personal data, and do not scrape messages to detect betting, gaming, or crypto activity.
3. How we use your information
- Assess loan eligibility, disburse and service loans with our lending partners
- Operate NeoChat: chat, documents, status, communities/people matching you opt into, referrals you start, staff attendance
- Communicate with you (OTP, servicing, support)
- Improve products and the website
- Comply with legal and regulatory requirements
- Prevent fraud and unauthorised device use, using only data you have consented to for that purpose
We use personal data only for purposes you have agreed to or that the law allows. If we need a new purpose, we will ask again.
4. Sharing of information
We may share information with lending partners, service providers who process data on our instructions (hosting, OTP delivery), credit bureaus, the Neodhan loan management systems that already serve your journey, regulators, and law enforcement when required. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Security
Data in transit is sent over HTTPS. Access is restricted. Login tokens and consent flags on NeoChat use the device secure store where available. No method of storage is perfectly secure; we take reasonable technical and organisational measures.
6. Retention and deletion
Retention of loan, KYC, and servicing records follows our Data Record Retention Policy (including periods required by applicable financial-services rules). In NeoChat you can delete the on-device contact directory from Profile. To request deletion of server-side account or chat data, email privacy@neodhan.com or Grievances@neodhan.com from your registered mobile or email. We may retain limited records where the law requires it (for example dispute or fraud investigation).
7. Your rights and choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You can refuse optional NeoChat permissions (contacts, location, camera, gallery, device signals); chat and OTP login still work. 8. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and in NeoChat where required.
