NeoChat Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to NeoChat, a business messaging app from Neodhan (Echoblend Technologies Pvt Ltd) for loan servicing. By creating an account or tapping Continue, you agree to these Terms and the NeoChat Privacy Policy. Site-wide terms: neodhan.com/terms. If you have a sanctioned loan, that loan agreement controls if there is a conflict.
1. The service
NeoChat lets customers and Neodhan staff message about an application or loan, share documents, track status, invite a co-borrower you choose, and (if you opt in) find people already on NeoChat. Applying for credit and KYC may continue in the Neodhan app. NeoChat does not itself sanction or disburse a loan.
2. Eligibility and account
You must be 18 or older and able to form a contract under Indian law. Staff accounts are only for authorised Neodhan employees. You must keep OTP access to your mobile number secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
3. Acceptable use
Do not harass others, send unlawful content, impersonate staff, attempt to break the app, scrape other users, or use NeoChat for spam. Do not upload documents you are not allowed to share. We may suspend accounts that harm customers, staff, or the integrity of loan servicing.
4. Permissions you grant
Optional permissions (contacts, location, camera, gallery, device signals) are described in the Privacy Policy and in Privacy & signals in the app. Refusing them does not block basic chat. You must not grant a permission on behalf of someone else.
5. Referrals and rewards
Referral or NeoCoins benefits, if offered, apply only after a successful referred journey as described in the Offers screen. We may change or withdraw promotions. Rewards are not interest, not a loan, and not guaranteed.
6. Messages and records
Conversations may be reviewed by authorised Neodhan staff for servicing, quality, and fraud prevention. Do not treat chat as a substitute for a registered legal notice unless we say so in writing.
7. Intellectual property
Neodhan and NeoChat names, logos, and the app are owned by Echoblend Technologies Pvt Ltd or its licensors. You keep rights in content you upload, and you grant us a licence to host and display it as needed to provide the service.
8. Disclaimer
The app is provided on an "as is" basis. We aim for high availability but do not warrant uninterrupted access. Status shown in chat is informational; your loan agreement and sanction letter control if there is a conflict.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Indian law, Neodhan is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by your device, network, or misuse of OTP. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including fraud or personal injury).
10. Termination
You may stop using NeoChat and request deletion as in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if the service is discontinued.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
