Data Record Retention Policy
Last updated: February 2025
Neodhan ("we", "us", "our") maintains this Data Record Retention Policy to define how long we retain customer and business data in line with applicable law and operational needs.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all data we collect and process, including application data, loan agreements, KYC documents, transaction and repayment records, communications, and system logs.
2. Retention Periods
We retain loan application and sanction records, loan agreements, and repayment history for at least eight (8) years from the date of closure or last transaction, or as required by RBI and other regulators. KYC and identity documents are retained as per regulatory requirements. Marketing and analytics data are retained only as long as necessary for the stated purpose or until consent is withdrawn.
3. Deletion and Disposal
After the retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymized so it can no longer identify you. Physical records are disposed of in a manner that prevents unauthorized access or reconstruction.
4. Exceptions
We may retain data longer where required by law, ongoing litigation, regulatory inquiry, or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., dispute resolution, fraud prevention). We will not use retained data for marketing once the relationship has ended, except where permitted by law and consent.
5. Changes and Contact
We may update this policy from time to time. For questions or to request information about your data, contact us at Grievances@neodhan.com or +91 92107 57300.
